What we collect
- Quiz answers. When you take the relocation quiz, we store your answers and results with a random session ID. This is not linked to your identity unless you also give us your email.
- Email address. Only if you subscribe for updates or ask to be connected with an attorney. We use it to send you the updates you asked for or to follow up on your request.
- Attorney request details. If you fill out the attorney form, we store your name (optional), email, the country you're interested in, and what you need help with, so we can route your request.
- Approximate location. We estimate your city from your IP address to show flight times from where you live. We don't store your IP address with your quiz results.
- Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our servers log requests (IP, browser, pages visited) for security and debugging.
- First-party site analytics. We count successful page views, referring domains, and broad device type without using cookies or client-side tracking scripts. We do not store raw IP addresses, full browser identifiers, query strings, or referring-page paths in the analytics database. A one-way anonymous visitor identifier rotates monthly, and requests using Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded.
What we do with it
- Send you the emails you signed up for. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- Connect you with an immigration attorney or expat tax specialist if you asked us to. That means sharing the details you submitted with the professional we match you with.
- Improve the site using aggregate quiz trends and privacy-friendly traffic analytics.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't share your email with anyone except as described above.
- We don't run trackers beyond what's listed here.

Data retention and deletion
We keep subscriber and lead information until you ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll remove your data within 30 days.
